Vow Renewal on the sand in Hermosa Beach

Barb and John came from the Midwest to sunny Southern California to renew their vows after 30 years.

Surrounded by their two boys and their wives and two grandchildren with their toes in the sand reunited them in a beautiful family inspired ceremony.

Barb was escorted him to the song REMEMBER WHEN, BY ALAN JACKSON by her two sons.

Barb and John stepped into the heart I created in the sand and I started the ceremony by telling them: remember when you first met, remember when you first kissed, I remember when you proposed and remember when you said I do. They exchanged vows and I do's.

Then we did a family Sand ceremony. Each one of them had a different color jar of sand and they blend of them together with some sand from the beach and then gave each other a big family hug.

And at the end of the ceremony I played the song THAT’S THE SOUND OF SUNSHINE COMING DOWN, by MICHAEL FRANTI & THE SPEARHEADS whereupon they took out some stones that day and each decorated and place them in the sand and then each one danced a silly jig in the center ending with a final family hug at the end of the song.

We wish them a wonderful happy life together with their family.
