Winter Wonderland Wedding at Green Mountain Ranch in Lytle Creek

Image

When I first met with Vincent and Carmen I knew I was the only one who could do their wedding. We had so much fun designing the ceremony. They got married at Green Mountain Ranch in Lytle Creek which is about 5 miles off the 15 freeway going up into the hills above San Bernardino.

They decided to have a winter wonderland theme. And there decorators to the wonderful job bring it to life. Due to the rain they had to move it inside but still the ambience was perfect.
I started off the ceremony by lighting a memorial candle to give honor to the relatives who have passed.

Once the entire bridal party was up there and the couple was holding hands I broke into song. I sang¬†a modified version of the song “Winter Wonderland” but changed it to “Wedding Wonderland. The wedding party and the guests loved it.

After the vows, when we got to the I do’s, they each wrote three silly I do’s that the other had to agree to. This got a ton of laughter.

After the rings they did the wine box and love letter ceremony where they put some love letters and wine into a box and on their one year anniversary will open the box read the love letters and drinking the wine.

Then to make sure that their love was real we did a Potion Ceremony. They each had two vials of different colored water in which they poured them into the magical treetrunk. If their love was true, then steam would rise up from the trunk (Of course the trunk was filled with dry ice).

I did some wonderful closing comments and then pronounced them husband and wife.

It was such an amazing day for me in them and I will always remember their wedding.

Wedding Ceremony at the Millennium Biltmore in Downtown Los Angeles brings tears to the groom’s eyes

Arbi and Rini had the most beautiful ceremony filled with emotion at the Millennium Biltmore. Before he walked down the aisle he told me that when he first looked into her eyes he couldn't believe that she looked back.

Into their ceremony I incorporated their love story and some readings from first Corinthians and from Rumi. Think corporative the wine box and a love letter ceremony

It was so wonderful to see the emotion that the groom displayed during the ceremony. He was a sobbing mess but I helped him through it made him laugh and help the audience experience the emotion.

Watch this nice testimonial he gave me after the ceremony and look at the great pictures of this beautiful venue.

Officiant Marries Couple at loftSEVEN in Los Angeles

Nicole & Uli

Our Great Officiant Michael was honored to marry Nicole and Ulion at loftSEVEN penthouse. He wrote this about the couple:

“Nicole and Uli were such a fun couple and their ceremony totally matched. ¬†With a lot of laughter and excitement I was able to recount their love story, from their first meeting and kiss right up to the proposal. ¬†But what I thought was most unique was that they had so many elements to the ceremony that allowed participation from their friends and relatives:

-A wine box/love letter ceremony where one of their groomsmen held the wine box.

-Roses to their parents and Uli’s grandmother.

-Three different readings all done by friends.

And what a fantastic venue they picked!  loftSEVEN in the heart of downtown LA had amazing views from the rooftop, where we performed the ceremony and it looked like everyone was in for an amazing reception.

Wish them all the best!”

Michael was then sent the following note by the happy couple:

“I wanted to pass along how many compliments we got on you and the ceremony. Several people assumed you were our old friend given how well you personalized the ceremony. Thanks so much!”

Officiant Michael is on a Wedding Roll!

Michael1- MM

Matthew and Manuela were married at a walk-on style beach wedding in Marina Del Rey.  This was a beautiful, intimate ceremony with the happy couple and their family.  After we performed their wedding under a palm tree, we went directly to the sidewalk where Matthew broke the glass and the entire family (and a few friendly onlookers) shouted Mazel Tov!

They also sent a quick thank you to Michael:

“Thank you so much! Everything was amazing and you were fantastic!!!

We all had a great time!”

Michael2-NM

Nate and Marissa found Wilshire Restaurant, in Santa Monica, to have a fantastic outdoor area to be a perfect backdrop for their light-hearted and fun ceremony.¬† After they exchanged vows and I Do’s, I scurried out of the way for their first kiss which their photographer captured from behind them, facing the audience and through a firepit!

—————————————————————————————-

Michael3- MD

Megan and Diana are a couple after my own heart Рgamers!  After a lengthy first meeting over coffee where we exchanged tales of electronic victories, I had the privileged to learn all about their life as a couple: from first meeting through proposal and beyond.  Their ceremony remained true to their gamer essence. We performed an originally written Paopu Fruit Ceremony which is from the Kingdom Hearts video game series, their rings were kept in Pokémon balls and their tables were all labeled with classic games.  After their ceremony, which was held at the Mitten Building in Redlands, I retold their love story, they produced an enormous fantasy-style sword which they used to cut the cake.  Rock on ladies!

Michael4- RA

Richard and Aimee’s wedding, held at¬†The 1909 in Topanga,¬†was all about laughter and fun – would you expect anything else from a couple who both brought each other Gummy Bears on their first date?¬† We performed a beautiful Wine Box and Love Letter ceremony under their Chuppah. After I pronounced them husband and wife, Richard took his heel straight to a glass with an awesome crush and Mazel Tov!¬† I’m sure the rest of their reception was full of just as much energy, they had an entire candy buffet setup with delectable sugary delights!

Rev. Anthony is Staying Busy With Multiple Weddings

The much loved Rev. Anthony has been very busy with multiple weddings. Take a look at some memorable moments he wanted to share.

Katie & Michael

Katie & Micheal 20130907

September 7th, 2013

This ceremony took place at the beautiful Heisler Bench Park in Laguna Beach. It was scheduled to start at 6:00pm but ALL of the guests arrived on an old school bus converted into a party bus painted like an old woody.

Since everyone was there – we started early!

Katie & Michael stood up alone, no wedding party at all. The groom cried, the bride consoled him, and I provided tissue. The weather cooperated with a nice shore breeze to make the ceremony quite pleasant.

Jaclyn & Daniel

20130914 Jaclyn & Daniel

Saturday September 14th, 2013

This wedding was out in Temecula / Murrietta at Harveston Lake. This very similar to Lake Mission Viejo, man made with homes all around. A lovely fountain was just behind us.

Jaclyn & Daniel had a short and simple ceremony. They included the Lasso ritual with Daniel’s mother and step mother as sponsors.

20130914 Haverston Lake

It was quite warm but a good breeze helped created some havoc with decorations.

Jane & Will

20130914 Jane & Will

I had two Great Officiant weddings on Saturday September 14th, 2013

The second was at The University Club on the University of California, Irvine Campus. A GREAT LOCATION!

20130914 Universtiy Club UCI

William and Jane were both a bit anxious before starting but the weather was fantastic and the staff excellent!

Will & Jane wrote their own vows to one another and there was not a dry eye anywhere by they time they finished.

They had a secular ceremony and included The Wine Box and Love Letter Ceremony.

20130914 Wine Ltr Box

The box was decorated great. The cooperation, both holding the hammer while inserting the nails, was fantastic! (if you do this ceremony, use short nails!)

They created a twist to the ‘rose to mothers’ side ceremony.

Near the end, they asked for both sets of parents to stand. In place of roses, they gave them hugs!

Joyce & Jerry

09202013 Jerry Joyce & Anthony

September 20, 2013

Rev. Anthony¬†had the privilege to officiate the wedding of Joyce E. Sorby & Gerald ‘Jerry’ L. Bailey in San Diego, CA.

It was a small, intimate back-yard event with 20 +/- guests. They had a full Hawaiian theme with Conch blowing (took two tries!), Lei exchange, hand lei ceremony using blonde kekui nut lei & Sand Pouring.

The couple were both nervous, excited, smiling, giggling and even making faces at each other throughout the ceremony.

The bride was escorted by her daughter, the Matron or Honor and Best Man gave leis to all the guests as they walked in.

Stacey & Devin

09212013 Stacey Devin & Anthony

September 21, 2013

I had the privilege to be the Officiant for Stacey Eaton & Devin Vink at the Dove Canyon Courtyard in Trabuco Canyon.

It was an afternoon event, sunny and warm. The venue has a small ‘brides room’ with a lovely staircase for a dramatic entrance.

0921201 Dove Cnyn Crt Bride Walk

¬†The anxious groom and father of the bride both skipped the stop and wait for “who gives…” part. I did go back, ask dad to stand up and give her away. It was¬†a light and¬†fun moment.

The bride lit a memorial candle for her late mother very early in the ceremony.
