Roger had the wonderful pleasure of marrying Rob & Courtney at a wedding venue he had never been to before. It’s the Emerald Peak Venue in Temecula. It’s a small family owned venue right in the middle of nothing ! It’s a beautiful, secluded place that you definitely need special instructions to find ! But once you do, you are treated to a one of a kind wedding venue ! Both Rob and Courtney were a loving and most unique couple and wanted their wedding to reflect that and Roger was the guy to bring it ! It was a wonderful wedding with tears and laughs abound !
Elizabeth and Matthew were very detailed and very much involved throughout the process. They wrote their own vows and read them together. It was done with class and to the point. It was obvious they were very much in love and icing on the cake: “Coco” (Maltese poodle) was their ring bearer. Coco just sat down as the best man removed the rings. ”
They did a great job modifying: “The Arras and El Lazo and wrote their own wine celebration: “Two Lives as One” by Matthew and Elizabeth. It was awesome. The pouring of the wine and the toast was classy showing their unconditional love.
Throughout the entire ceremony they stared at each other, holding hands with big smile. Their family and guest were in tuned and at the conclusion they walked away and faded through the winery for their wedding pictures.
Jessica and Scott’s wedding on Sunday 04 June was a dream come true. California wines rival those of Europe and our wineries are equally romantic. This wedding at Lake Oak Meadows Winery had the perfect blend of rustic and refined. Family and guests delighted in the beautiful park-like setting. Here the photos really do speak for themselves.
Kahauna and Alpha were married at the beautiful Chapel of Memories in Temecula, CA. Operated by Patricia and Jim this chapel is a gem of a place for a wedding. This couple has love overflowing from their hearts, minds, eyes and souls… It is a love that you could feel from miles away. It was a beautiful hot sunny day in to Old Town Temecula and all their guests were dressed so beautifully. This was such an intimate wedding that made everyone smile and laugh. This couple wrote their own vows and they were so heartfelt, poetic and awesome. This was a great ceremony and I Rev. Smith was so proud to be a part of it under the Great Officiants name.Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
Congratulations to Amanda Reynolds and Bryan Masucci on their July 16, 2016 wedding at the Galway Downs in Temecula, CA. It was another in beautiful day in the southern California Wine Country. It was hot but tolerable in a great serine setting. The ceremony started with Amanda entering “slow” in the two horsepower horse and carriage with the “nervous” groom anxiously waiting. The ceremony went great with many laughs and examples of why many couples are not in favor of the traditional “repeat after me” vows (although we did not do those). Prior to the regular vows, Amanda and Bryan pulled out their handmade notebook of written vows, from which they read. The Wine Cup ceremony was a nice touch, although Bryan might have welcomed an “endless cup!” The ceremony was the perfect blend of humor and seriousness and was exactly what they wanted. My best goes out to the very happy couple as the head to some warm weather to relax!Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
Congratulations to Lianzi Zhu and Ting Wu on their July 9, 2016 ceremony at the Ponte Vineyards in Temecula, CA. It was a beautiful HOT (about 95º) day in the wine country, with the winds “kicking up.” None the less, for the most part it was not an unbearable type of heat and everyone was able to sit back and enjoy the ceremony – not to mention the beautiful view of the mountains and the vineyards in the background. We were under a canopy on a brick platform at the edge of the pond. A beautiful setting! During the sand ceremony, the photographer and myself were only a step away from a nice refreshing swim. Fortunately, we had “eyes behind our heads!” My best to the very happy couple.Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
Roger married a wonderful couple this last week at the beautiful Wilson Creek Winery down in Temecula. When Roger first met them, they told him they wanted a fun loving and romantic wedding ceremony, and they could tell that Roger could do just that….. But they also asked for a special favor from Roger. After the wedding, they wanted Roger to join them in their “first dance” medley. One of the songs was going to be the very popular song California from Colonel Loud and since they were from Virginia, they wanted Roger to give that “California feel” to their dance ! Now mind you, Roger has never in his 350 plus weddings ever been asked to join a bride & groom on their first dance and frankly was a little (a lot) nervous about this request !! Roger asked them several times if they were sure they wanted this to happen and would their guests enjoy it and not think that the wedding officiant had just decided to crash their dance?? They assured Roger that would not be the case and that the crowd would love him joining them………. Well……….they were absolutely right ! From the very start, the guests were on board for the fun ! From the ceremony to first dance, this was a crowd that wanted (and had) fun ! Roger had the time of his life and can’t wait to do it again (New note: Roger has had second thoughts and thinks first dances should be still just for the bride & groom ha !)
Shane & Takisha were also very happy ! They sent this wonderful note to Roger……..
