Tik and Mia are such a wonderful couple. They just gave birth to a beautiful child, and wanted to be legally married. They drove down from West Covina and enjoyed the cool breeze at the gorgeous Averill Park Gazebo while surrounded by their close family and friends. I even learned some Chinese to start the ceremony: Dajia Hao (Hello everyone!)

We assisted them by having one of our notaries Shari issue the marriage license, and Suvin provided a beautiful ceremony.

Mia was so happy after the ceremony, she wanted to take a selfie with me.

2 Great Officiants, 2 Great Couples 1 Great Beach in Malibu.

Image

SHARI and I booked booked a beach wedding on Point Dume in Malibu on the same day an hour apart. So we carpooled through early morning traffic and arrived at 930 am. There was almost no one at the beach and it was a perfect combo morning waves crashing against the rocks.

Shari had the first wedding at 10am. They showed up promptly dressed to the nines. She issued them their license and ventured down to the point where some dolphins and whales were cruising by in the backdrop.

Alan’s 11 o’clock couple did not show up till 1230. They had so many mishaps along the way. Their phones both died, they had car trouble and she had accidentally put your hand into some road tar that she couldn’t get off. Making it to the beach was the ultimate test for their marriage. If they could make it there with all the crazy stuff that went on to get them there and they were destined to be together. And in the end they gave each other and amazing kiss and we’re happy that they made it and endured their crazy adventure.

And they all liver happily ever after.

Yancie and Angela were a beautiful couple! They had called in a few times and were so thrilled and pleased with our service, that when they came to the office, they wanted Shari and Suvin to co-officiate the ceremony at The Cute Little Wedding Chapel in Long Beach!

With close friends and family, we performed the ceremony together. It was a ceremony filled with laughter and joy.

Afterwards, Shari even participated in the bouquet toss! This was a very fun couple, and we had a blast performing the ceremony for them.

At the South Bay Dance Center in Lomita, Love is in the air

It was a 12/12/15 wedding of Erlinda and Desiree. They were together for three years before being married. They decided to tie the knot at the South Bay Dance Center in Lomita, CA. It was a beautiful venue.

Desiree and Erlinda were so in love, this was the perfect time for them to say “i do”. At 4 pm, right before the sunset, a crisp breeze rolled through the air outside, while it was nice and toasty inside the banquet hall.

Complete with their own vows and a ring warming ceremony, Shari performed a beautiful wedding.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Shari’s Return to Blogging with a Beautiful and Romantic Love Story

Image

IMG_6675_resized
This story begins in Iran. The Groom was born there, then moved to Italy, then moved to sunny Los Angeles, and now lives in San Antonio. His family still lives in Palos Verdes, so the groom travelled here to LA to be married on Palos Verdes Cliffs. The bride travelled all the way from Italy to tie the knot with her love. She is now moving over to San Antonio with him, this is an intercontinental love story! But it does not stop there: at the end of July, this lovely couple will be married in Milan for the family in Italy!

The groom was a romantic at heart, so he brought two dozen red roses in a lovely vase, it was really cute! To make things different, the bride had a boquet with red roses, baby's breath, and white marshmellows!

I love these romantic marriages. No matter the distance, love conquers all!

Great Officiant Shari officiates Bob and Johns incredible Love Story

Bob and John

photo (2)

Bob and John  were some of the nicest and most gracious men I have met in some time. They have been together for over 12 years before Bob became very ill. Bob, ironically, is an ordained minister and has married hundreds of straight couples.

However, he never thought in his lifetime that he would be able to marry the love of his life. That all changed on Saturday, 1/11/14. I was proud and honored to be the one that pronounced them married.

I wish them both the best, as well as their family and friends who were equally as gracious and lovely as the two men that they love so much.

Lou and Rose Married on Their 34th Anniversary!

Great Officiant Shari sent us this blog:

I married these two ladies on their 34th anniversary, at 3:00 pm, at Palisades¬†Gazebo Park in Dana Point. They had their two best friends (a straight couple) witness the ceremony, and then had a reception at their friend’s home nearby thereafter. All four of them worked together during the time that Lou and Rose¬†met. To quote them, they met during at time when¬†you still had to be a member of a club to get into a secret lesbian bar. They were the warmest, sweetest couple,¬†and they are still so in¬†love after all these years.
