The Beautiful Wedding………

Roger had the honor of marrying Mark & Taylor this last weekend at the most extraordinary Redondo Beach Historic Library and Community Center.  It was a beautiful wedding with a fun filled crowd and Roger really pulled out the stops on this one.  Lot’s of laughs and lots of tears.

It was a wonderful wedding…. So much that Mark & Taylor took time out or their celebration to send this note below.

Roger,

Just wanted to say, thank you thank you thank you! You knocked it out of the park with our ceremony.  It was thoughtful, hilarious, and sweet.  We loved it and our guests were absolutely blown away by how funny it was.  It exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful to you for really taking the time to understand what we wanted, and delivering it!!

Sincerely,

Taylor and Mark

A Total Surprise Wedding For The Bride

Roger got to be part of a very cool surprise for an unsuspecting bride this last weekend.  You see Carlos and Anna have been married for 20 years and Carlos wanted to celebrate their love for one another by renewing their vows once again after two decades together……but he wanted to do it as a surprise for her on the beach.  So Carlos had set up the perfect plan.  He arranged it all thru the The Victorian, an amazing restaurant in Santa Monica and they would set up the chairs and such on the beach.  Now to get Anna there and surprise her…… And this is where the genius of the plan came into play…. You see Anna was going to be on the beach getting some pictures taken by a family friend (who was in on the surprise) and this family friend was “casually” going to walk her over to the area where Roger and all their friends and family would be waiting and surprise her with the wedding.  But they didn’t want her to notice the assembly of friends and family…. So the photographer friend had her walk backwards for probably a couple hundred feet and she never saw it until she was right on top of it !  It worked perfect and she was overwhelmed. A beautiful wedding !!  And Roger topped it off with an amazing ceremony.  It was a great day.   Roger told Carlos the only downside to this wonderful day was that Carlos set the bar really high for every married man out there !   Touche’ Carlos !

The Perfect Beachside Wedding………

Roger had the honor of marrying Elliott & Stephanie this last weekend on the beach at Little Corona Del Mar in Newport Beach.  Alex and Cameron flew out from Arizona so they could have that perfect beach wedding.  Just a small, intimate group, maybe 15 people.  Roger and the group walked down to a quiet end of the beach by the rocks and just as the tide was coming in, they had the perfect wedding ceremony.  It was a beautiful day and a wonderful wedding.

A Beautiful sunset wedding at Dukes………

Aaron & Alexandria live in Texas and wanted the perfect sunset beach wedding and they got all that at Dukes !   A picture perfect place to marry right there in Malibu overlooking the Pacific.  It was a small, intimate wedding, mostly family that also flew in for the big event, but both Aaron and Alexandria still wanted it to be a fun event.  Well, they came to the right wedding officiants; Great Officiants and picked the right guy, Roger !  You could hear the waves crashing in the back the the love and laughter in the front.  A beautiful wedding.

The Bride Almost Married The Wrong Groom………

Wait a minute……….what does that mean???

So let’s go back to the beginning…….  First of all, one of the most fun loving couples, Brian & Allison, Roger has come across !!!   This couple was not only ready to get married, totally in love, but wanted their wedding day to be one to remember………..and boy did they get that !!  First of all, a great choice for wedding venues out there in Agoura Hills at Malibou Lake Mountain Club.  And they picked the perfect wedding coordinator Holly who played momma bear perfectly and kept everybody on track.  And of course, the original fun guy Roger……..and that made for the perfect wedding………not so fast……. Everything was set and ready for the big day………. So now it’s several hours before the wedding and the bride and entire bridesmaids entourage were leaving their hotel to get on the shuttle to bring them to Malibou Lake and just as they were leaving, the shuttle driver congratulated Allison and told her she was a lucky gal to be marrying her groom…..and then said a different name…….Allison quickly corrected him and told him her groom’s name was Brian……….The shuttle driver immediately screeched to a halt, turned around and said “lady, you got the wrong groom!  This shuttle is going to a wedding, but not yours” !!!  So the girls got off the shuttle bus and then found the “right” shuttle bus going to Malibou Lake !  Confirmed twice with the driver that they were going to the right groom and they were off !!!    Whooo !  Close call !  Boy how would Roger have handled that ?!?!
