Stewart and Veronica are so in love with each other they both were almost in tears when we met for the first time. I love meeting couples that are so crazy in love with each other!

Veronica is Catholic and Stewart is Jewish therefore they wanted to incorporate some traditions of each of their heritages. From the Catholic side we incorporated the Lasso ritual and the wedding prayer in both English and Spanish. From the Jewish side we incorporated the Chuppa, 7 Blessings, breaking the glass at the end of the ceremony, and the Kiddush which is a wine blessing also common in the Catholic tradition but with a different name.

Veronica has a daughter and two sons whom Stewart absolutely adores! When we met they told me it was really important to them to include their children in the ceremony. They bought a necklace for each of them with family trees and each necklace had their birth stones. In the presentation of the necklaces I spoke to the kids explaining to them the symbolism behind the necklaces and the important role each of them has in the happy couples lives.

This was a multicultural ceremony very customized to the couple’s needs. It truly came out absolutely beautiful and Stewart, Veronica, and I worked together to design the perfect ceremony for them.

Stewart and Veronica I wish you both all the blessings in the world and send you all my love!

A Great Wedding at a Great Venue: The Reef in Long Beach

Image

IMG_0460
Elena and Ruben's wedding took place at The Reef in Long Beach. This is a great venue because the rooftop deck has a beautiful Long Beach skyline backdrop along with the bay and all the sailboats.

Their processional and recessional was wonderful because instead of having groomsmen and bridesmaids it was composed of all the kids in their family including Elana's kids. To top off this cuteness they were all dressed up in early 1900s attire! They were too cute to handle and so adorable!

We incorporated The lasso ritual and the sand ceremony. In their sand ceremony instead of having to individual containers representing the groom and bride we had six individual containers of sand representing the happy couple and the bride's four children. Like I've said in the past we can customize any and all of our ceremonies in add-ins to fit your wants and needs.

This was truly a beautiful ceremony and a day to remember! Elena & Ruben I wish you both all the blessings in the world and send you lots of hugs!!!

Octavio has a bilingual Catholic ceremony at the quiet cannon

Fernando & Veronica's wedding took place at Quiet Cannon in Montebello. This is a great venue because you can have an outdoor ceremony in a beautiful setting and an indoor reception so you and you guests are not hot throughout the day.

Their ceremony was catholic and bilingual. The couple also asked me to incorporate the Lasso ritual which was draped over their shoulders by Veronica's aunt and grandmother.

Her bridesmaids were wearing long black dresses with red high heels which was very dramatic and they all looked absolutely gorgeous. This is not the most common combination for weddings but in my opinion it really looks great!

Fernando and Veronica, thank you for giving me the opportunity to officiate your wedding! I'm truly blessed and wish you both all the blessings in the World!

Octavio does a multicultural wedding

Noah & Valerie tied the knot at Eden Garden Bar & Grill in Pasadena. This was a multicultural ceremony as we incorporated a couple of Catholic and Jewish traditions.

We signed the Ketubah and Noah broke the glass at the end of the ceremony. We also did the Lasso ritual, a wedding prayer, and the popular mothers rose presentation which they decided to include their grandmothers as well.

The ceremony was also bilingual so both families could understand and be a part of it.

It was truly an awesome experience!

Noah and Valerie I wish you all the blessings in the World!!!

Wind and love together in Temecula Wedding.

Anthony turned in this blog report.

The first was out in Temecula / Murrietta at Haverston Lake. This very similar to Lake Mission Viejo, man made with homes all around. A lovely fountain was just behind us.

Jaclyn & Daniel had a short and simple ceremony. They included the Lasso ritual with Daniel’s mother and step mother as sponsors.

It was quite warm but a good breeze helped but also created some havoc with decorations.
