Roger was very excited to be marrying Daniel & Liz that last weekend. They had been at a few of his previous weddings and knew that they wanted him for their wedding. And what made this doubly special is that the wedding was being held at the Beverly Garland in Studio City just a couple miles from Roger’s house and the Beverly Garland is also a regular haunt for Roger and his family having had Thanksgiving dinners there on more than one occasion.
The only possible issue is that Daniel and Liz wanted streamers thrown by the guests as they walked down the aisle as husband & wife. The problem was that the venue doesn’t allow streamers !! And Roger only found this out as he was just walking up the aisle to perform the ceremony whispered to him by the wedding coordinator….. So at the end of the amazing ceremony, Roger made the announcement about the streamers but also everyone needed to pick up after themselves after the wedding……….Well that didn’t happen……… except for one groomsman………and Roger !!! It didn’t take long for the two of them to clean up and the groomsman was taken aback that the minister of the wedding was cleaning up too !! Roger…… A Great Officiant and Groundskeeper !!!
Roger had the honor of marrying Eric & Wai-Ling at the amazing Wedgewood Country Club. They are an adorable couple who are perfect for one another. And their choice of a wedding venue was spot on. The grounds are beautiful and cozy and it was a perfect day for a wedding. Blue skies, the perfect temperature, and a great officiant !
On a glorious Saturday afternoon I had the honor and pleasure of officiating at The Bel Air Bay club. This private over 100 year old club is truly old California. Spanish Moorish style, overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean Calvin and Helen got married in ultimate style. Every thing about this event was absolutely perfect. Trina Schmidt and her staff are no doubt professional with years of experience. We had 170 guests .
Our ceremony was custom designed to their liking a beautiful blend of Christian and Buddhists. Lighthearted yet sincere, they chose to compose their own vows. My first time working with a translator. Ms. Vy Huyen Hoang is a very skilled translator. She translated our whole ceremony to Vietnamese.
We also had the pleasure of listening to a fabulous trio of string instruments gently playing in the background. Angel’s I say WOW ! They had a beautiful group of friends in their bridal party including their two adorable doggies dressed in wedding attire. Our awesome public notary on staff Al-X came from Long Beach to hand delivered the Marriage Certificate .
We are the only company in California allowed to issue this document other than the register recorder county clerk. Such a huge plus to have this privilege for our clients. Fast and easy . Of course the evening was full of love and laughter eating drinking and dancing . I thank this beautiful couple and wish them all great things in life . Thank you for choosing Great officiants and me Officiant Lisa Smith.
Maple syrup is sweet and can go on many things but it is not as sweet as Mark and Tara‘s wedding at the Adamson House in Malibu, California.
I mention maple syrup because this couple came all the way from Canada to enjoy the warm weather and ocean views of Southern California at the Adamson House for their wedding ceremony.
This couple along with their family and friends are the nicest individuals and they all were enjoying the beautiful landscaped grounds of the Adamson House.
Holly Orr was the wedding planner and coordinator and she and her crew did an excellent job of preparing, organizing and making sure that all the fine details for the wedding and reception were set up to perfection. Holly and her crew were instrumental in making sure that the wedding ceremony started on time.
The day was perfect with clear blue sky‘s, wonderful weather and smiles from Mark and Tara and their guests that went on for ever and ever; and I was happy to be their Great Officiant.
Caroline Ramirez and Robert Ahrendt selected as their minister Rev Dr Gary Barmore, provided through the wedding services of Great Officiants. Meeting at Gary’s Costa Mesa home for planning and building the inter-personal relationship, they indicated that their ceremony would take place at Robert’s Aunt Carol’s home in Corona. The good reverend drove on July 13 to what he expected to be aunt Carol’s modest but nice track home, yet instead found himself arriving at the rainbow-shaped driveway of a vast ranch-style home with a huge back yard and a magnificent gazebo beyond a lawn-surrounded pool. And wow, it was perfect for this attractive and exciting, yet quite unassuming, couple. With their five daughters adding beauty and grace to the processional, Caroline and Robert pledged their undying love within an outdoor paradise.
