The Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills is an amazing place to marry. It can hold hundred’s of guests for an over the top, giant wedding…….. But in Mario & Laura’s wedding, it was no more than 10 people. Just an Intimate, family ceremony. So why did they choose Greystone ? It was a place that Mario would take Laura when they first started dating and they wanted to marry where it all began. And Roger got to be part of this amazing event.
Roger was fortunate enough to be part of a picture perfect wedding this last weekend. He married Jaime & Kara, a wonderful couple truly in love. The wedding was held at the Eagles Nest Country Club in Cypress. The only concern was the weather forecast……. It was predicting triple digit heat and everyone was worried that this outdoor wedding was going to be ruined……. Well, it was either Roger’s wishing, or mother nature wanting to help, but the temperature at the venue was a comfortable level and everyone had a great time. Not too hot at all !!
If you had to pick the perfect place for a sunset wedding, the Laguna Beach Surf & Sand Hotel up on the terrace would be in the top ten…….That is where Roger had the pleasure of marrying Darryl and Alexandria this last weekend. And to top off this amazing wedding venue, Darryl & Alexandra told Roger that their guests were coming to party and Roger needed to bring the fun, funny and romance to their ceremony ! Boy did they come to the right guy ! Not only did Roger have the guests in stitches, but many, many heartfelt moments throughout the ceremony. It was a perfect wedding !
Lawry’s in Beverly Hills was the setting for the nuptials of Susan and Erik on Saturday, August 8. It’s a great place for a wedding! There’s plenty of room, and yet everything is close at hand!
Susan and Erik’s friends and family were a happy, even exuberant gathering! Lots of smiles, hugs, and well-wishes were going around. The ceremony concluded with an “impromptu” dance by the bridal party, which “interrupted” the presentation of the couple as husband and wife! Everyone had a great time.
So get this…. Derek & Jessica have been married for 18 years…… And every year on their anniversary they renew their vows somewhere around the world. This year, they decide to renew their vows back at the original scene of the crime where Derek first proposed to Jessica…. The Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills! Now mind you, they have renewed their vows 17 times…… had 17 different officiants…….numerous different languages……. different places all over the world…… even in a chocolate factory! And the first words they said to Roger was that he was going to officiate their 18th wedding renewals, so no pressure!! So Roger pulled out all the stops! He researched percentages of married couples who have done their wedding renewals, he wrote a wonderful back story about them, he really went the extra mile! Did it pay off? Well this video from them tells it all! It was fantastic! Derek & Jessica loved it and told him so numerous times! Chalk up another success for Great Officiants!!
Celeste & Alonso's wedding took place at a Beverly Hills home. The joy and love between them was so contagious!
Their families and close friends gathered around us in the home's yard making it a more intimate ceremony, which was exactly what the couple desired.
We did a bilingualnon-denominational ceremony so that everyone could be a part of it. It came out beautifully!
Celeste & Gonzalo, I wish you all the blessings in the World!!!!
Viridiana & Alonso's wedding took place at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach. This ceremony was such a blast!!!!
They are clearly best friends and have such a unique and extraordinary connection. They wanted me to make a few jokes throughout the ceremony so that it wouldn't be too serious. We worked together in accomplishing this and the jokes they came up with were hilarious!
We added a joke in the opening of the ceremony and then a huge twist in their "I Do's" which made everyone laugh out loud!
Then we got to the ring exchange. When I called for the rings, the Best Man couldn't find them. Everybody started panicking and, oh oh, wait a minute what's that sound? R2D2 starts strolling around the wedding guests with non other than the pillow and rings. Yes you read it right, the real R2D2 came and saved the day!!! He came to the front and the Best Man took the rings from him. This was such an awesome moment!!!! And a first for me.
We then proceeded with the sand ceremony and after I pronounced them Husband & Wife they all got in golf carts and went for a ride around the golf course.
Alonso & Viridiana knocked it out of the park with their creativity and jokes!!!! I loved loved loved officiating their wedding!!!!!
Alonso & Viridiana, thank you for giving me the honor of officiating your wedding! I wish you guys all the blessings in the world!!!!!
Congratulations to Gena Soto & Candice Villarreal on their October 10, 2014 wedding at the Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, CA. It was a beautiful evening, although we started a little after sundown and didn’t have much light. However, the couple lite up the area with the glow of happiness and smiles that were radiating from their faces!
Congratulations to Lenore Strum & James Skydell on their October 12, 2014 wedding at the Il Ceilo restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA. It was a small intimate ceremony in the courtyard of the beautiful award-winning Beverly Hills restaurant. Although the ceremony was a short ceremony, it wasn’t short on “classiness!”
