Congratulations to Rocio Ortega & George Fuentes on their February 13, 2016 wedding at the Seaport Marina Hotel in Long Beach, CA. It was a great day for a wedding. Even though the ceremony was indoors, it took place in front of huge windows with the harbor as the backdrop. The setup was not the traditional, as the majority of the guests were seated at their reception tables and about 30-40 close family and friends were seated in chairs arranged in the traditional ceremony fashion. They incorporated a plant ceremony to symbolize the roots of their relationship and the continued growth of their love, as they became each others’ family. They know that, like that plant, their marriage will be resilient (and why shouldn’t it be? They planted a succulent. Those things are almost impossible to kill!) With that being said, the ceremony went great and guests were anxious to continue with great food and drink.
