Museum wedding

Michelle & Eugene CONTRERAS WEDDING on 03 June 2017 in Santa Ana, CA

Michelle and Eugene chose The Heritage Museum of Orange County as their wedding venue. The 19th Century mansion, its grounds and accompanying historic buildings provide a charming “yesteryear” feel. The outdoor wedding, cocktail hour and reception had guests move around the grounds and historic buildings in what was a relaxed and fanciful evening.

Joseph and Maile Have Some Custom Vows for their Ceremony at the Heritage Museum in Santa Ana

Joseph and Maile are so in love. They had their picturesque ceremony under the gazebo at the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana. Jamie Hiber is amazing to work with! They also had some other amazing vendors such as Diana Perkins from Country Garden Catering as their day of coordinator and Katar Marcus from Invisible Touch as the DJ. Choosing a professional is so important, and this couple did it correctly!

Another aspect they did correctly was their written vows. Many couples ask me, what is the best way to write your own vows. You can do this in two easy steps:

1. Type it out, and place it in a frame.
This way, you aren’t memorizing and forgetting the words, or pulling out a crumpled piece of paper. Also, these framed vows look great on the sweetheart table!
2. Write your love story.
Everyone has heard the same “I promise to do this, I promise to do that…” be unique! Write down how you two met, where you are now, where you see yourselves in the future.
These two easy steps will make your vows beautiful and memorable.

At Great Officiants, we can even issue the marriage license. This will save time because you don’t have to go down to your local County Clerk’s office and wait in line for hours to obtain the license. We issue it and turn it into the county for you, you never have to step foot in a County building!

Joseph and Maile, you two are the perfect couple, may you live happily ever after!

A Wedding at the Heritage Museum in Santa Ana by Rev. Gary

img_3078
Megan Carlin and Jonathon Burton, as well as twenty guests, flew from Seattle to Southern California for the wedding of their dreams.  Great Officiants found the perfect venue for them — the Victorian Home at the Heritage Museum in Santa Ana — as well as the inspiration of Rev. Dr. Gary Barmore to plan with them and lead them in a ceremony that included faith, fun and love forevermore.  (One of those embarrassing-but-endearing nuptial moments occurred when, after the bride’s brother escorted her down the aisle, the officiant whispered, “Where is your bouquet?”  Her cousin ran up the stairs to retrieve the bouquet from the mansion’s parlor and it was all beautiful!)   The couple and their entourage enjoyed Disneyland and Universal Studios on this destination event, and are returning to the northwest full of precious memories and wedding bands on their clasped hands!

A Very Unique Wedding !

asgfasdhfgsdhg
This one is one for the books !  Roger had the honor of marrying Andrew and Henry, together for 11 years who flew out from Boston to get married at Tom Of Finland, an erotic museum here in Los Angeles.  It was just a small group of friends attending  along with a fun, but casual ceremony.  And this was a first for Roger…… Instead of exchanging rings, they exchanged cigar bands !  It was a great time and one to remember !!

Andrew & Henry were very happy with the ceremony and said so below…..

Roger Dodger,
Thanks so much for officiating our ceremony yesterday. You are a real sport and lots of fun on top of being a wonderful officiant.  Your “sermon” was the perfect balance of wisdom and humor making a very serious event into something fun and full of life.
If you make it to Berlin in the coming year looks us up, otherwise  we’ll hunt you down when we get back to LA !

Mr & Mr Henry Richard Andrew Maniace Buzzi!”

Jacqueline & Sherman later wrote, "Wow, thank you SO much for being a part of our special day. We could not have asked for a better officiant. You spoke so clearly and really gave emotion and honesty to our ceremony. Sherman and I couldn't stop talking about how great you were … We will certainly pass your name on if any friends or family need a wedding officiant. Many blessings to you and I hope business is booming for you this year!"
