Roger had the honor of marrying James & Kristen at the ever so wonderful Coyote Hills Golf course this last weekend. It was a small, intimate wedding with maybe 50 guests there to celebrate with them. Make that 58 guests !!
Another 8 showed up uninvited but certainly announced. Right in the middle of the ceremony, a mother and father swan decided to take their six adorable and loud children up on the grass right next to the ceremony site. Needless to say, they stole the show. Roger did his best to keep it together but they actually added to the cerebration !
Congratulations to Asssumpta Batac & Hin Chau on their Saturday, September 16, 2017 wedding at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel in Buena Park, CA. It was a beautiful day as their 250+ guests began arriving at the hotel. The ceremony was conducted in the courtyard, as was the cocktail hour, followed by the reception in the ballroom on the upper level. Music was supplied by a wonderful string duo. The ceremony began as scheduled with the groom escorted by his parents, followed by the bridal party, then the bride, who was met at the beginning of the aisle by her parents and escorted to the alter and presented to her “soon to be” husband. The ceremony included a Unity Candle and a Rose presentation to their mothers, as well as a special scripture reading and a “short” sermon at the request of the couple. My very best to Assumpta and Hin as they begin their life-long journey together!
Congratulations to Hiromi Sugano and Alvin Cara on their Saturday, September 23, 2017 wedding at the Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach, CA. It was a simple, yet “Classy” ceremony with about 100 guests and lasted about fifteen minutes. Ceremony music was provided by a pianist, which added elegance. The brides entrance up the stairs with her dad was “royal.” The couple greeted their guests for some pictures and the cake cutting immediately after the ceremony. Afterwhich the new Mr. & Mrs. and bridal party returned for pictures while guests enjoyed cocktails, which was followed by the reception on the terrace level.
Congratulations to Griselda Salazar & Mario Garcia on their Friday, September 29, 2017 wedding at the Mountain Meadows Golf Club in Pomona, CA. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. Everything was perfect, and went as planned! The coordinator had everything down to a science. Even the music was queued perfectly (supplied by “DJ” Officiant Frank), which included 30 minutes of pre-ceremony soft music while the guests were arriving and being seated. Their ceremony also included their Personal Vows, the Wine Cup and Rose presentation to their mothers. Some “teary-eyed” moments from the heart! My very best to the happy couple.Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
Roger had the pleasure of marrying Jason & Katie this last weekend at the always spot on and professional Coyote Hills Golf Club in Fullerton. It was rather fitting that Jason and Katie marry at a golf course because that met in golf college and both make their living in the world of golf ! They are a truly amazing couple who couldn’t wait for this day to happen. They both laughed and cried during the ceremony and it was a wonderful day. And Jason and Katie added something most unusual to their ceremony, something Roger had never heard of…. It’s called the Lovelock Tree Of Life Ceremony. It’s presented as this beautiful framed tree that holds places for “lovelocks” that represent major moments in their lives. The locks have no keys and cannot be opened. Their first lock was presented by both parents and was locked onto the Tree Of Live right then and there during the ceremony. It was a beautiful touch to a perfect wedding.
Roger had the pleasure of marrying Robert & Christine this last weekend at the Double Tree Hotel in San Pedro. A beautiful small hotel just off the water. And Rob & Christine, although only having a handful of guests, wanted it memorable. Roger told them not to worry, that is the only kind of wedding he does. And Roger had a lot of fun with this one. You see, Robert is with the CIA and Roger asked him if he should mention that or not and Robert said he had nothing to hide ha ! So Roger pulled out the stops and gave the a fun-filled wedding with lots of laughs and tears ! It truly was a perfect, intimate wedding. And Roger passed the background check too !
Roger had his comedy skills tested that last weekend when he had the very fun job of officiating the wedding for Dennis & Krystyna at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach. Now Roger knew from the first time he met with Dennis & Krystyna that Dennis was a joker…..big time ! And every time Dennis would throw out a joke at the planning meeting, Krystyna would just roll her eyes. She was used to his comedy ways and expected no less of it at the wedding. And boy oh boy did he deliver ! All thru the ceremony Dennis had funny lines and comments, mostly only that Kyrstyna and Roger could hear, so both Krystyna and Roger had to keep their wits about them in order to get thru the wedding ! All in all, it was the perfect wedding and Dennis is missing his calling as a comedian !Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
A Glorious day has just happened GREAT Officiants Lisa Smith had the pleasure and honor of composing and officiating Jon and Samantha’s perfect Dream Wedding Ceremony. The nuptials took place on the rooftop at 6:45 pm surrounded by excited loving family and friends. We were granted perfect weather a balmy 78* slightly breeze. With a fabulous view of Santa Monica Beach and all of Los Angles A big Thanks to Coordinator Cynthia Najares and the professional first class staff everything was very well Orchestrated! Jackie and Amy fulfilled their dream of a glorious southern California beach wedding they live in Arizona and were very happy to come to the beach to cool off. We all gathered at the Chart House Restaurant in Redondo Beach for a well orchestrated and joyous afternoon into evening Celebration. Aaron and staff we’re ready and on point as usual to treat our guests. We were blessed with a perfect day a bit overcast, but welcomed for awesome photographs and a cool cover. Joined by family and friends from Missouri Arizona Oregon and all over. We gathered right on the sand to witness these two souls whom adore each other pledge to be together for eternity. Amy’s dad was so proud to give his daughters hand in marriage there was not a dry eye in the house, or should I say on the beach! Emotions were very high but we pulled through with good tears and laughs. The sand ceremony was also a grand symbol of the blending of these two lives. followed by the awesome reception it was just inside set up so perfect with all the trimmings and great attention to detail the view was outstanding all the windows facing the glorious sunset over the Pacific ocean as jackie and Amy joined by family and friends they ate fabulous food, partied and danced the night away. Best wishes to Mr and Mrs FloresShare This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
Tim and Stephanie were wed at the infamous Ace Hotel in Palm Spriings. Tim had friends and family fly in from England, while Stephanie had all her friends and family fly in from New York, where this couple met. Needless to say, it was a classy affair. New York is where they both discovered and realized their love for Habañero Margaritas. It’s also the city they love, and where they reside. The whole event was stylish, and even a bit Hipster-ish. All they needed was a live performance from the Killers.
Kaleena and Mike were united at the beautiful and unique Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank. Even though they were young, they have devoted and developed their relationship over 5 years of being together. They also both have a love and respect for each other’s cultures, as we had a Lasso Ceremony celebrated in Mexican Culture for Kaleena, and an Irish prayer at the end for Mike. It was a beautiful union of two souls!
So Janette and Eddie, aka Her Worshipfulness and the Scoundrel, love Star Wars. So we definitely mentioned the Death Star destroying anyone who objected to their wedding. They also wanted their two cats, Wilson and Dexter to feel included so we did a short Family Unity ceremony with them as well! Janette and Eddie love each other so much, and could just be themselves with each other. It also showed in the way Eddie proposed to her. They took a helicopter to the top of a Glacier in Alaska! It was lighthearted and fun at the San Dimas Golf Course, and I am sure they will not witness such a unique ceremony for some time to come!Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
Roger had the best time marrying Cameron & Alexandra this last weekend at the Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine. A beautiful location, a warm summer breeze, and a guest list that wanted to have fun ! And that is just what they got ! This was one for the books ! A great day !
Tustin Ranch Golf Club provided a beautiful backdrop for the wedding ceremony of Cindy Dubon and Shane Sceville, led by Rev. Dr. Gary Barmore of Great Officiants. They met through an on-line dating service, which is how most couples today find the right match, and it makes sense: at least they know something about the other before actually meeting for a date. This certainly beats wandering super-market aisles or hanging out in bars, hoping to catch someone’s eye. When they met with Dr. Barmore to plan the ceremony, he also helped them understand their dynamic — typical of most couples — of one who majors on decision and action, while the other majors on thinking things through. Together they create a successful life, as long as they celebrate the goodness of this difference, and that the “do-it-now” person grants time and space for the other to muse, and the “muser” assures the “doer” that the time of clarity and action will come. Shane and Cindy contacted Great Officiants to connect with a “basic minister” but are so glad that the clergy they selected offered friendship, wisdom, skill, and a really dynamic wedding ceremony!Share This Post: Follow Us On Social Media:
