A Wonderful New Place to Marry !

Image

Roger had the wonderful pleasure of marrying Rob & Courtney at a wedding venue he had never been to before.  It’s the Emerald Peak Venue in Temecula.  It’s a small family owned venue right in the middle of nothing !  It’s a beautiful, secluded place that you definitely need special instructions to find !  But once you do, you are treated to a one of a kind wedding venue !  Both Rob and Courtney were a loving and most unique couple and wanted their wedding to reflect that and Roger was the guy to bring it !  It was a wonderful wedding with tears and laughs abound !

A Very Fun Wedding with Twin Brothers

Image

Roger had never officiated at the Spanish Hill Country Club out in Camarillo but hopefully it won’t be the last!  This is a beautiful place!  And Lupe, the venue’s wedding coordinator was fantastic!!

Roger had a lot of fun with the ceremony because the groom Matt, who happens to be 6’6” with dashing leading man looks has an identical twin brother just the same.  So Roger had his share of fun with them offering up the other twin as an instant groom at the same time!  It was both fun and romantic wedding !  That should be the sub-title of Great Officiants! Oh wait, it is !!

High-school Sweethearts at Friendly Hills Country Club.

Image

Karina & Miguel had their ceremony at Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.  They chose the Greatest  Package to be able to share their Love Story with their family and friends.

Two hundred and twenty guests shared the Love Story that brought Karina & Miguel to the alter.

Their Love Story was filled with laughter, tears and moments of nostalgia. They have been together since High School and the days of MySpace where online dating was invented [smile]. Karina & Miguel’s bilingual ceremony was mixed just enough to have their parents, grandparents as well as their friends enjoy the beginning of what was to be an epic celebration.

Ole Hanson Beach Club Wedding

Image

Britany and Josh got married at the awesome Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente.

It was a beautiful wedding filled with fun and laughter. They chose My Favorite Ceremony and did a wine box and love letter ceremony but it was their story that made the day.

They actually met in San Clemente and he proposed to her on Pier 39 in San Francisco. They love cooking shows and cooking together. They are River rats and love to go to Havasu and Parker.

My favorite part of the wedding was the family dedication where they brought up their one-year-old daughter Sophia and I did a family dedication. Not a dry eye in the house.

We love it when we get to incorporate children and family into the ceremony.

Ole Hanson Beach club is run by 24 Carrots

This Groom Was One Class Act

Image

Travis and Samantha at Coto de Caza Country Club

Roger had the honor or officiating the wedding of Travis and Samantha this last Sunday at the Coto de Caza Country Club.  Travis and Samantha had chosen to read their own vows to one another during the ceremony and when Roger got to that part of the ceremony, Samantha suddenly asked if she could go first, and of course Roger said yes, certainly.  And the reason for this, Samantha had realized that her emotions were getting the better of her and she wanted to get thru it before she lost her nerve… Well, that is exactly what happened.  She couldn’t get a word out and asked not to do it.  And this is where our Travis, one class act, stepped in.  He whispered in her ear that it was okay and he said that he wasn’t going to read his either and just spoke off the cuff with his true, loving feeling for her.  It was absolutely silent in the house.  It was a perfect decision on his part to take the pressure off her and now they both would have something to look forward to when they read their own vows later at a private time.  It was a perfect wedding!

A Beautiful Day After All

Image

The beautiful Canyon Crest Country Club

Roger was pretty nervous about his wedding this last weekend at Canyon Crest County Club in Riverside… Not because of the location… Canyon Crest is a wonderful place to marry… Not because of  Aaron and Danielle… they are a hoot, a really fun loving couple… Nope… it was because of the rain drops that kept intermittently hitting his windshield on his way to the wedding… And the ceremony was outside!!  They say rain on your wedding day is good luck… during your wedding, not so much…

Aaron and Danielle at the Canyon Crest Country Club

But no sooner did Roger pull up to the venue, that the skies turned blue and not a raindrop in sight!   The wedding went off without a hitch and it turned out to be a beautiful day after all!!

Roger had three weddings, one at Coyote Hills Country Club in Fullerton, Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, and Adobe Park in Mission Hills

Image

Roger had the honor of officiating the wedding of Edward and Roda this last weekend at ever so beautiful Coyote Hills Country Club in Fullerton.  This wedding was amazingly touching.  The groom Edward, a pretty stoic, mans man of a guy, had tears running down his face as Roda walked down the aisle.  And to top it off, their fur-baby Cosmo was spot on walking down the aisle in his “tux”.  And Roger knocked it out of the park with a great ceremony.  It was a perfect day !

Roger got to partake in a roller coaster of a ride this last weekend when he married a wonderful couple, Jose & Crystal at the Orcutt Ranch in West Hills.  Roger has married couples there before and it’s a beautiful venue and always spot on…….. But this particular Sunday, it seemed like Murphy’s Law was raising it’s ugly head and messing with the day!  First of all, the ceremony was running behind by 45 minutes plus…. And to top it off, there was no power to the ceremony site.  Thank goodness for the amazing work of DJ Omid who literally saved the day and was able to jerry rig everything together to get power, thus sound and music for the ceremony.  And the wedding planner Erica Kumala kept everybody on their toes trying to get things back on track.  Plus the photographers had to double time because of losing light…. And all this amazing work was happening all the while our couple knew nothing about it.  And that is the way is should be.  Roger was very proud to be part of such an amazing team of vendors who turned a hectic day into a perfect day !  Touche to all !  Oh yeah, Roger crushed the wedding too !

Roger had the honor of marrying Angel and Nancy this last weekend at the Andres Pico Adobe Park in Mission Hills.  This little gem is is one of the oldest adobe structures in the city of Los Angeles.  Built in 1834, it represents a bygone ear and the rich historical past of San Fernando Valley.  And this is where our Angel and Nancy wanted to have their wedding ceremony.  Both being long time residents of San Fernando Valley, they thought it would be the perfect place to tie the knot !  And with Roger’s help, the wedding was a great success !Share This Post:
