Roger had the honor of marrying Jeff & Carmay at the always so wonderful Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach. This venue is always a crowd favorite and they once again did just that. Everything was spot on and the wedding was an intimate, one of a kind ceremony.
John and Rey were wed at the beautiful Colony House in Anaheim. They both are huge self proclaimed nerds, they love Superheroes, comic book conventions, and Star Wars. So as soon as you entered they had a wonderful sketch of themselves as a Jedi and Superman. The ceremony was decorated beautifully.
They had a lovely string quartet for the music, and incorporated two friends with thoughtful readings. Their love and dedication for each other was so apparent, John had told me on their very first date he had asked Rey out for a beer, even though he wasn’t even a beer guy. And right before the kiss, they let me say the most amazing quote by: RuPaul!
“If you can’t love yourself, how the heck are you gonna love somebody else?”
On a glorious Saturday afternoon I had the honor and pleasure of officiating at The Bel Air Bay club. This private over 100 year old club is truly old California. Spanish Moorish style, overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean Calvin and Helen got married in ultimate style. Every thing about this event was absolutely perfect. Trina Schmidt and her staff are no doubt professional with years of experience. We had 170 guests .
Our ceremony was custom designed to their liking a beautiful blend of Christian and Buddhists. Lighthearted yet sincere, they chose to compose their own vows. My first time working with a translator. Ms. Vy Huyen Hoang is a very skilled translator. She translated our whole ceremony to Vietnamese.
We also had the pleasure of listening to a fabulous trio of string instruments gently playing in the background. Angel’s I say WOW ! They had a beautiful group of friends in their bridal party including their two adorable doggies dressed in wedding attire. Our awesome public notary on staff Al-X came from Long Beach to hand delivered the Marriage Certificate .
We are the only company in California allowed to issue this document other than the register recorder county clerk. Such a huge plus to have this privilege for our clients. Fast and easy . Of course the evening was full of love and laughter eating drinking and dancing . I thank this beautiful couple and wish them all great things in life . Thank you for choosing Great officiants and me Officiant Lisa Smith.
Victor and Madeline created a beautiful traditional Hawaiian wedding. I had the honor and the pleasure of officiating for this lovely couple. We were gifted with a glorious perfect California day. As all the guests arrived, gently live harp music by Bonnie Mohr was being played. Guests were met with much aloha and presented an authentic Plumeria flower lei from Hawaii . Victor and Madeline also have a home on Kauai explaining their absolute love of the islands and cultures. We began the ceremony with the traditional blowing of the Conch shell, this signifies to all on the island that a very special occasion is about to occur. Madeline’s brother( another Victor) had the honors of the Conch! Victor And Madeline exchanged very special beautiful tuberose and pike flower leis just for bride and groom , they exchanged Vows, I Do’s, rings and tears of joy.
And another huge successful union of marriage was completed by me Officiant Lisa Smith of Great Officiants and more to come Aloha and Mahalo!
Roger had the honor of marrying Steven & Queenie this last Sunday at a wedding venue Roger had never been to before but will certainly suggest again. The Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades! Not only a gorgeous view of the ocean but a beautiful wedding venue to boot! Add in the amazing coordinating skills of I-Jou from Sunny California Weddings and this wedding ran incredibly smooth! Not only very romantic but a lot of fun too!
Already inhabitants of the SoCal coast, Katy Walser and Andrew Kirby searched for a worthy venue for their May 25 wedding, and found it at the historic Casino Club in San Clemente. Where now were they going to find a minister who could lead them in the most important moments of their day?
Seeking an officiant both dignified and personal, dynamic yet not over-bearing, Christian and open-minded, they sought out Great Officiants of Long Beach, who recommended Rev. Dr. Gary Barmore, pastor emeritus of Fairview Community Church in Costa Mesa. The couple found Gary easy to share with about their vision for the marriage ceremony, and they were delighted at the way he developed words and actions that on a sunny Saturday afternoon fulfilled their hopes and a lot more. The inspiration received by all the guests, as well as accolades from friends and family regarding the nuptials, blessed the hearts of Katy and Andrew, who have a wonderful life of adventure and love ahead.
