Banquet Hall Wedding

Doctor Who References at the Vintage Rose in Orange Wedding Ceremony

Elisha and Wesley were big Doctor Who Fans and wanted to incorporate Dr. Who quotes throughout the ceremony.

So here are the quotes I used and where I put them into the wedding ceremony

In the Opening

When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all… Grow up, get a job, get married, get a house, have a kid, and that’s it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It’s so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.

Before the Vows

Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.

Before the Ido’s

The universe is big. It’s vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles.”

Before the Rings

“There’s a lot of things you need to get across this universe. Warp drive… wormhole refractors… You know the thing you need most of all? You need a hand to hold.”

Before the Kiss

We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?

Don’t turn your back. Don’t look away. And don’t blink. Good Luck

Ceremony written and performed by famous Wedding Officiant Alan Katz

This Couple Wanted To Have Fun !!

Roger had the pure pleasure of officiating the wedding of Joey and Monique this last weekend.  Both Joey and Monique, when meeting with Roger, mentioned numerous times that that didn’t want the normal, dry, standard wedding.  They said that both their families and friends were ready to have a good time and really celebrate this big day.  Roger assured them that they came to the right guy.  Roger brought his A-game and had this crowd in stitches and in tears.  It was an amazing wedding!!!  And Sandy, the coordinator for the incredible Vintage Rose in the city of Orange, kept everybody in line and on time.  She is an amazing coordinator and does a wonderful job !  Overall, this couple had a fun wedding !!

Late afternoon sunlight filtered through the sycamore trees and onto the lily pads at Menifee Lakes’ Wedgwood wedding venue.

Late afternoon sunlight filtered through the sycamore trees and onto the lily pads at Menifee Lakes’ Wedgwood wedding venue.  Family and friends gathered there Friday evening May 19 to witness and celebrate the joining of Joseph Fine and Mayra Meza as husband and wife.  During the ceremony, Rev.Dr.Gary Barmore of Great Officiants turned the couple toward the guests, and after the bride and groom’s “I Do’s” the whole crowd was invited to pledge their support with a hearty “We Do!”  Then, turning them toward one another, Dr. Barmore led Mayra and Joseph in holy vows both in English and in Spanish.  The wedding prayer gave thanks for life and especially for love that makes life worthwhile, as well as asking for the good gifts of patience, forgiveness, new horizons and a home wherein each can return from their work to find refreshment and renewal.   This couple elected to symbolize their union with the planting and watering of two small ficus trees tenderly intertwined.  And then … let the party begin!

We did a beautiful ceremony in the gazebo at Quiet Cannon. Great venue!!!

Ben and Martha  are truly soulmates!

I was more involved with them from the moment we met up until their ceremony than I normally am with other couples due to some family matters they went through and got to literally fall in love with them.

Like people say now-a-days #relationshipgoals !!!!!!

We did a beautiful ceremony in the gazebo at Quiet Cannon. Great venue!!!

Rabbi Barry performs a wedding at the Padua Theater in Claremont

When Doug and Mark contacted me through Great Officiants to perform their wedding ceremony, I realized that I performed Doug’s brother’s wedding two years ago. It was awesome to know that I would once again be working with a wonderful, loving and accepting family.

The venue was one of my favorites, the Padua Theater in Claremont.  Although the setting was perfect the weather was not.  When I arrived, the Chuppah was set up in the courtyard and the wind was blowing a frigid chill through the air. I knew this would be a distraction to the guests, but Mark and Doug were dead set on the outdoor location. When it began to rain they finally decided to go inside.  There were no poles for the Chuppah, so four friends held it up for the entire twenty-five minutes.  They were such troupers and the metaphor of their friends and family being their support, especially during a difficult time, became a large part of the ceremony.

The other memorable part of the ceremony was, Mark.  He was so perfectly witty; people laughed through the ceremony when they weren’t crying.  Mozel Tov Mark and Doug and may you share many loving moments together!

Kellie and Tony married on Saturday 13 May 2017 at The Olympic Collection Banquet & Conference Center

The Olympic Collection Banquet & Conference Center is located West of the 405 Freeway and just North of the 10 Freeway. It provides easy parking for your guests and has the added bonus of being a relatively short drive North of LAX.

It is a one stop venue, which provides both a place for your wedding ceremony and your luncheon/dinner reception afterwards.

One of the advantages of an indoor venue for both your wedding ceremony and reception, is found in the hem of your wedding gown. Most brides don’t think about this at their fitting. However, realize that when you walk into your wedding ceremony you will have one arm in the arm of a parent/escort and the other arm will be holding a bouquet that weighs between 5 and 10 pounds. This leaves you with no free hands to draw up the front of your floor length wedding gown.

If you are outdoors it is probable that you will be walking on uneven rough ground. Suggestion: if you have an outdoor wedding have your wedding gown trimmed up a couple of inches in the front of the dress. This will save you from stepping on the front of your dress and tripping down the aisle.
