A poem by The poet Rumi highlights this wedding at the montage in Laguna Beach

When doing an interfaith wedding it is important to bring both sides together such was the case with today's wedding. He was Christian and her family was Muslim. I had to find a way of bridging the gap between the two of them while not insulting or alienating either side. So I focus the ceremony on their love story and incorporate first Corinthians and a poem from Rumi……..
A Blessing from Rumi
May these vows and this marriage be blessed.
May it be sweet milk,
this marriage, like wine and halvah.
May this marriage offer fruit and shade, like the date palm.
May this marriage be full of laughter,
our every day a paradise.
May this marriage be a sign of compassion,
a seal of happiness here and hereafter.
May this marriage have a fair face and a good name,
an omen as welcome
as the moon in a clear blue sky.

Both sides of the aisle recognize their various verses and both sides of the aisle were smiling.

The Montage is an amazing venue. Their wedding lawn has a wonderful view of the ocean.
This view was accentuated by the beautiful floral design of Square Root. Their lavish designs always impress me.
Just have a wonderful happy hour outdoors overlooking the water before they settle then to the reception indoors.
