Larry has been ordained since 2006. He has married over 200 couples since then and loves being a part of people’s lives. He enjoys getting the audience involved with some crowd participation in the ceremony and also knows when to keep it quiet. He also knows to duck out of the picture before the big kiss! He enjoys working with couples to create an experience, to treasure the moment and take pause in the moment. He loves helping couples write vows for each other, and bringing to life their dream wedding. He has a fun and whimsical style.

Larry is a Veteran of the Marine Corps, has been married for 23 years and has three children. He has attended Waseda University in Tokyo and speaks Japanese. He is most commonly known as “Uncle Larry” as he hosts and promotes concerts at the House of 80’s at the House of Blues and other venues in Orange County since 2010. Larry has been working at the Disneyland Resort for over 20 years behind the scenes doing the light and audio for the shows.

He enjoys live concerts and comedy and always has a joke to make you laugh.

Larry lives in the Irvine area of Orange County, but travels all over Southern California and beyond

Two weeks before our wedding our Officiant backed out so we
were left stressed and we were struggling to find someone. I came across
Great Officiants and from the very start they were so AMAZING and so helpful.
We had Larry officiate our wedding, AKA Uncle Larry and he did SO good. We are
still having our guests talk about how good the ceremony was, how funny he
was and how it was the best ceremony they have ever been a part of. 12/10 I
recommend Great Officiants and Uncle Larry.
