Susana Valdez and Joseph Cannavo flew west from their home in New England so that their wedding could be held in her sister’s home in Whittier

Susana Valdez and Joseph Cannavo flew west from their home and careers in New England so that their wedding could be held in California among family and long-time friends.  Her sister’s home in Whittier converted beautifully into a chapel of lights, and the Rev. Dr. Gary Barmore of Great Officiants led the ceremony as he always does — without notes and speaking directly to the couple and guests, communicating just what the bride and groom requested.   Planned cross-country via email and telephone, the couple appreciated that the ceremony perfectly reflected their vision, and the couple and their guests were inspired by Gary’s words of faith, joy and love.  Comments after the wedding centered on how amazing that such a simple setting could be so blessed with dignity and delight.  Coming from out of town, Susana and “Jay” were so appreciative of Great Officiants’ service of securing the wedding license.  They are returning to the east coast happily married and rich in memories.

On a beautiful June 10 at California Country Club in Whittier, William Smith and Ashley Lidwin pledged their lives together in marriage

On a beautiful June 10 at California Country Club in Whittier, William Smith and Ashley Lidwin pledged their lives together in marriage.  They have lived for some time in Pennsylvania, but family and friends mostly reside in Southern California. So after securing the beautiful outdoor venue, they wondered who could they find as qualified clergy to lead their ceremony.  Turning to Great Officiants, they chose to engage the ministerial services of Rev Dr Gary Barmore, and sure enough, their vision of those most important fifteen minutes of their life was truly fulfilled.  Great Officiants even took care of acquiring for Will and Ashley a California marriage license.  They return to the East Coast with photos and memories, best wishes and a lifetime of love together.

April 2, 2016 another wedding preformed by great officiant’s Lisa Smith

A beautiful setting at the friendly Hills country club in Whittier California, was the place to be on Saturday with Brian and Nancy and all of their friends and family.  Nancy’s family  arrived from Vera Cruze  Mexico to celebrating a beautiful marriage between these two people in Love. We were blessed with a brilliant day of sunshine and perfect temperature. As the sun began to set everything was so beautiful Brian’s Family were most delightful. My favorite part was of course Marring Brian and Nancy, but the heart felt love and new family blending was so strong ! One big happy Familia We all enjoyed many laughs.
The evening continued with Dinner and Dancing fit for the King And Queen Off to Disney World ! May Brian And Nancy Live Happily Ever After

A Beautiful Location, Under the Shade of Elm Trees, at Swiss Park in Whittier

IMG_4021
A beautiful setting under the shade of thick elm trees, provided by Swiss Park and Lodge in Whittier, was the perfect venue for the wedding ceremony of Ashley Beltran and Michael Sandoval.  In the early-evening coolness, Rev.Dr.Gary Barmore of Great Officiants led the couple and their children in vows, sand ceremony and — to the delight of eighty guests — turned them outward and asked friends and family to affirm loving support with a rousing “We Do!”  The personal statements given by the bride and groom to one another in the presence of  their dear ones were profound and inspiring — with a touch of whimsey.  After the ceremony, everyone retreated to the classic ballroom where Norma and her crew took great care of the celebration.

A Great Indoor and Outdoor ceremony at the Swiss Banquet Park in Whittier

Grant & Julianne's wedding took place at Swiss Banquet Park in Whittier. This is a beautiful venue for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The staff is amazing too! If you're considering them please ask for Yvette and Tony. She's the wedding coordinator and he's the chef, and I am officiating their wedding next year!!!!

Now back to my beautiful couple, Grant and Julianne looked absolutely stunning! They chose "My Favorite" and I suggested to add a wedding prayer before the closing comments which is a beautiful way to close the ceremony. They wrote their own vows which where so touching and beautiful!

They were a little nervous, like all couples get, but throughout the ceremony I made them feel very comfortable and at ease, like I promised I would do. Toward the end they were laughing and giggling and very very happy!

Grant & Julianne, I wish you nothing but love and blessings for the rest of your life!!!!

God Bless!

Great Officiant Octavio has a Very Busy Wedding Weekend

Octavio-231
Omar & Mercedes tied the Knott at beautiful Swiss Park Banquet Center in Whittier. This is one of his favorite locations because the outdoor setting is covered by trees, blocking the sun from the couple and their families and friends. As well as being a beautiful place for the ceremony and pictures of course. This happy couple decided to use the My Favorite ceremony which Octavio translated completely to Spanish for everyone to be included. They added the Mother’s Rose Presentation.

Octavio-23-2

Juan & Llesica tied the knot at 72nd Place in Long Beach. This location provides such a beautiful backdrop, not only to say your vows to your significant other, but also for wonderful pictures. They chose My Favorite ceremony and added a couple of Catholic traditions such as 1st Corinthians and a wedding prayer before the closing comments. It was a bilingual ceremony. The beauty of our ceremonies is that they can be customized to you your wishes.

Octavio-23-3

Oscar & Elizabeth tied the knot at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA. It was a spectacular afternoon, the sun was shining down on us and the weather couldn’t have been better. Their ceremony was catholic bilingual and they incorporated the Mother’s Rose Presentation & the lasso and coin ceremony. It all came out beautiful and they were very happy with everything.

Great Officiant Octavio Keeps Busy with Two Fabulous Weddings

Oscar & Sarah

Oscar and Sarah
Oscar & Sarah got married at Swiss Park Banquet Center in Whittier.  The ceremony took place out doors while the reception indoors.  They had about 150 guests in the ceremony and a full bridal party.  Their recession and procession were also very beautiful!  We incorporated the sand ceremony in their wedding using their wedding colors, purple and silver.  This was such a spectacular setting, and the happy couple looked like they were straight out of a magazine!

Oscar & Sarah, I wish you all the BEST!!!!  Blessings!

Ruben & Natalia

Ruben and Natlia

Ruben & Natalia got married at a warehouse East of Downtown LA.  But don’t be fooled, Ruben’s father owns a successful business and they decided to use the company’s grounds for their wedding.  Although untraditional, the idea was great and the setting was very beautiful!  Their families were all there, and what beautiful people they all were.  During the ceremony there were about 12 bridesmaids standing in a semi circle behind us, which I had never done before.  It all came out so beautiful.  And it goes without saying Natalia and Ruben are such a lovely couple.  They have amazing energy I could feel even on the phone.

Natalia & Ruben, I wish you all the blessings in the World!!!
