Congratulations to Rosana Andrade & Tom Carter on their September 3, 2016 (Labor Day Weekend) wedding in Claremont, CA.  It was an exceptional evening in southern California – nice moderate temperature with a cool breeze.  It was a nice intimate ceremony with about 40 guests in a beautiful backyard setting. The event was well planned, the strings did a great job with the music and everyone seemed to take in the happy time the permeated the air!

It was a beautiful summer evening in the semi-rural Riverside County town of Mira Loma, as Rev. Ralph presided over the nuptials of Diana and Frank in the backyard of their lovely home.  Music from a solo violin set the mood, and about 75 friends and family members rejoiced as they repeated their vows under the setting sun.

Andrea and Veronica Berrios Covina California Saturday, August 27, 2016 a beautiful day for a fine wedding in Covina California at the home of Andre and Veronica attended by all friends and family so excited to witness this union in marriage special details made their back yard look like a beautiful park. The wild parrots flew by to wish them well during the ceremony and add their blessings Andre and Veronica’s daughter only 2 1/2 years old did a fine job on the basket with throwing the flower petals down the aisle,no problem for this smart little cutie pants. Andre and Veronica composed their own Vows to one another and there was not a dry eye in sight as it was so touching and loving. Nana composed a blessing of the rings and prayer. They also included a hand blessing, this is an outward symbol of the inward soul commitment they have committed to each other. Everyone cheered loudly as I pronounced them Husband and Wife the rest of the evening was full of love, fun, laughter and plenty of delicious Mexican food and cerveza’s. A fabulous DJ knew just the right tunes to get the celebration really going !! The event was a huge success! Congratulations to the happy couple. Thank you for choosing Great Officiants.

Jeremy and Nancy knew how to bring off the wedding they dreamed of — at a cost they could afford

Jeremy and Nancy knew how to bring off the wedding they dreamed of — at a cost they could afford.   Her brother in Long Beach volunteered his home and fit seventy-five chairs into the backyard.  Family and friends provided delicious food and drink, enjoyed after the backyard was transformed with dining tables.  And best of all, they said, was the dynamic and romantic ceremony led by Rev Dr Gary Barmore, whom they engaged through Great Officiants.  These photos reveal the joy and appreciation felt by Jeremy and his Anderson family, as well as by Nancy and her Chekos family.  Now, on the voyage of a loving lifetime, following the most wonderful day of their life, this beautiful and beloved pair go forth — without having drained their financial resources.  A wise and happy couple!

A Love Forged in the Fiery Depths of Neverwinter

IMG_5137
Heather and Patrick are both avid gamers, and quickly forged a friendship and connection while playing Neverwinter online.

Once they met in person, they knew they could never live apart, so 2 weeks later Patrick was on a plane to LA from South Carolina.

They were married in the backyard of Heather’s childhood home, under a tree that watched Heather grow up. They also honored loved ones that had passed by announcing their daughter they’re expecting in October will be named after the relatives that weren’t able to witness their marriage. It was a tender, unique, and touching unity.

Private Residence Provides For A Great Wedding Venue!

IMG_20150502_185310
I had the pleasure of performing a wedding ceremony for Dave Reading and Debbie Simon on Saturday, May 2nd.

The wedding took place at a private residence in Moorpark, just outside the grounds of the Moorpark Country Club.

What made this wedding so special (besides Dave and Debbie being a great couple) was the house that it took place at. Although it was a private residence, it looked more like a 5-star wedding venue. The back yard was large and meticulously landscaped, complete with several pools, waterfalls and even a large pool house.

The wedding took place on the pool house patio overlooking several pools and a large rock waterfall…….absolutely a stunning setting for a wedding, and by far, one of the nicest home weddings I have ever had the pleasure to perform.

I don't imagine the owner of the house would consider opening his property to the public, but if he did, Moorpark California could have a really nice new wedding venue.

Congratulations Dave and Debbie, and great choice on your venue!

Dr. Michael Woods
