Fun Disney Movie Reading for a Wedding Ceremony

I have a lot of couples who are huge Disney fans so I wrote this story on How to live like your favorite Disney Character.

Live your life like some or your favorite movies.
Like Carl and Ellie Fredricksen your love can be epic. It can only go UP from here.
May you learn to cook like Remy in Ratatouille…
Like Wreck It Ralph strive to be better and to make people love and admire you.
You will find your own National Treasure by going on quests and seeking the true meaning of the clues you give each other thru your relationship.
Like Jack sparrow seek your adventure to find what you treasure most. Gold, pearls and lots of rum.
Like Flik in Bugs life sometimes being a misfit can turn you into a warrior if you just believe in yourself.
Like Ariel in the Little Mermaid you learned to be a little rebellious to get what you desire and you found someone to be part of your world.
Like In Aladdin even a loly street urchin can find his princess by rubbing the magic lamp. Just don’t rub it the wrong way.
Like Mike and Sully from Monsters inc help others find their way even though it may seem scary
The movie Cars shows you the true meaning of friendship and family.
The story in Mulan shows you to honor your parents as they helped you grow to be who you are be there for them when they need you
Like Jack Skellington in Nightmare Before Christmas create your own celebrations the way you want them to be.
Not everything is a fairytale in life, but when you devote your life to the one you love you can live a complete life.
May you one day both find your own Paradise Falls

You Just Got Married…..Now What?

The marriage license is your permission to be married, when you provide it to your Officiant on the day of the wedding (free of any stains or wrinkles); your Officiant will sign and file the license with the county. Your Officiant is required to return the license to the county where it was issued within 10 days of the ceremony.

The county will ask you for your marriage license #, this can be found on line 25e of your customer copy if provided. If your county does not provide you with a customer copy. Please make a copy of your marriage license for your records.

If the county needs the officiant and/or the notary to make corrections with a duplicate or amendment, we will do our best to guide thru this process. If there are any other issues we will quickly help you resolve the issue to the best of our abilities.

The Ketchup Packet That Almost Ruined the Wedding at the Oviatt Penthouse in Los Angeles

ketchup1
I never imagined that a packet of ketchup would end up being part of a wedding ceremony. But if you know me somehow it was bound to happen.
I arrive to the Oviatt Penthouse about an hour and a half early. I had a fairly complex ceremony so I wanted to make sure that everything was set and ready.

As I pull up, the wedding party is outside taking pictures. I go up to greet them and see panic in all of their eyes and look at the bride dress to see a bunch of red splotches on the bottom.

Apparently, accidentally as they were crossing the street, the groom stepped on a packet of ketchup that squirted all over the bottom of her dress.

Quickly her bridesmaids and coordinators worked get the stain out of which they were successful doing so with a combination of shout wipes, tide pens and soda water.

I knew I couldn’t let this go by without mentioning it somehow in the ceremony, so I went on the search in the neighborhood to find a packet of ketchup. I finally found one at a 7-11 around the corner. I put it in my pocket to save it for just the right moment.

Their guests were so much fun to work with and were looking to have a good time. I did not disappoint.

We did the ceremony underneath a Chuppah, which I explained to their guests its significance.

The ceremony was a Christian – Jewish combo ceremony. It included first Corinthians and the blessings over the wine and the challah which I did in both English and Hebrew.

They read their own beautiful vows to one another, and at the end of the ceremony, I was about to pull out the glass to be crushed but instead I pulled out the ketchup packet. They both laughed uncontrollably as well as their wedding party. It’s a moment that I know was talked about lovingly throughout their reception.

Then I pulled out the actual glass to be crushed in its pouch  and with the 3-2-1 countdown, he stomped the glass whereupon everybody shouted Mazel Tov!

Then they kissed and made their way down the aisle.

This is one wedding I know I will never forget.

World Champion Black belt in Jujitsu gets married on the beach.

Patricia is a world champion in jujitsu. Today she married Charles on the beach.

Before putting our toes in the sand, I issued them their marriage license while she sat in the air-conditioned car. Much better than standing in line at the county. Right?

With 25 of their friends and family surrounding them I did a light Catholic style ceremony for them.

They each read some beautiful words to each other expressing their love and commitment.

I made sure he knew that if he didn’t listen to her that she would use some of her jujitsu on him. They all chuckled at that.

It ended with a huge kiss and then they walked off together toward the water.

Wedding Features Songs from Tool, No FX, Pink Floyd, Sublime, Beatles and AFI

I asked my couple if they were on a desert island and you could each have the music of 3 bands with you…what would they be?
His were Tool, No FX and Pink Floyd
Hers was Sublime, Beatles and AFI

So I wrote their story using titles of these band top songs (the selected lyrics are in quotes).

————————————

Today is just “A day in the Life” for you both.
You sat around and wondered “What I Got” and you were a couple of “Lost Souls” you didn’t have any “Schizm” because “Idiots are taking over Anarchy” and you were “Comfortably Numb” going about your business but then you saw her and you said “Hey You” “ I wanna Hold Your Hand” and “Love Like the Winter”.

She realized he was not just “Another Brick in the Wall” and that “Sober” Part of your brain said lets “Kiss and Control” and you decided to “Come Together”.

“She loves You” so you had to decide to “Push It” or “Don’t Push It” and chose to not “Leave it Alone” She is young and beautiful and this “Girls not Grey”

So you decided to invite your friends and family and spend some “Money” at this “Camp linoleum” so you could have this “Great Gig in the Sky” and Smoke 2 joints and drink your “40 oz To Freedom”.

WOW THIS ONE WAS TOUGH TO WRITE……

MUSIC WEDDING

Dr. Who wedding. An adventure across time and space at Disney Fairytale Weddings.

When I talked to Robert and Cassie about their ceremony they had no idea what they wanted to do. I gave them some ideas and then when I asked them what are they Geeky on and they told me they were huge Doctor Who fans. I am the KING of themed weddings so I prepared the following.

I’m a Time Lord. I’m from the planet Gallifrey in the Constellation of Kasterborous. I’m 903 years old, and I’m the man who’s gonna join this couple in Marriage”

If there is anyone who has just cause or any crazy darleks there is the exit…..

You wanna get married?? Cause if you do, then I should warn you. You’re gonna see all sorts of things – ghosts from the past, aliens from the future It won’t be quiet, it won’t be safe and it won’t be calm. But I tell you what it will be: the trip of a lifetime.”

When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all… grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid, and that’s it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It’s so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.

Then my altered standard vows.

For the I do’s i used the following: So if life comes along with, it’s silly little hardships and its silly little problems, and it has plans to get in our way- do you vow this day to stand with HIM/HER always…I do

Through All of Time and Space

“There’s a lot of things you need to get across this universe. Warp drive… wormhole refractors… You know the thing you need most of all? You need a hand to hold.” “I’ll be a story in your head. That’s okay. We’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? ”

You know, it seems to me there’s so much more to the world than the average eye’s allowed to see. I believe, if you look hard, there are more wonders in this universe than you could ever have dreamed of.”

At the End

I said…not even an angry Darlek could hold them apart. Now by the power vested in me by the high council of Gallifrey I pronounce you H&W FRONTIERLAND Together you get to explore new frontiers. Trying new places to go, new friends to meat may these new frontiers show to a way to your future,
Here is their nice comments after the ceremony
