“Hau`oli la Ho’omana’o (Happy Anniversary)” to Gabrielle and Jesse

"Hau`oli la Ho'omana'o (Happy Anniversary)" to Gabrielle and Jesse who sent this wonderful note along with two photos taken during their Hawaiian-Style ceremony:

"Hi Mauricio… We have had a wonderful first year of marriage and think about our wedding all the time. It was perfect and we just wish that we could do it all over again. You officiated the most beautiful ceremony for us and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect day… Thank you again for bringing all of our hopes for the ceremony to fruition."

One of the Hawaiian ritual observances featured in Gabrielle's and Jesse's wedding involved Great Officiant A. Mauricio pouring Pacific Ocean water into a Koa Wood bowl, He then dipped the leaf of a Ti Plant into the water and used it to sprinkle the water on the rings as a form of blessing. This was introduced with a tradition Hawaiian chant using a melody he composed especially for the occasion.

Aloha, Gabrielle and Jesse!image2image1
