Hester and Joseph celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary with a Renewal of Vows officiated by Great Officiant A. Mauricio. Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Gardens on the California State University Long Beach Campus.
In their 25 years together times have changed, but their love has proven strong and true. Hester and Joseph each have survived some very difficult times with the support of the other, specifically with issues which made the words “in sickness and in health” that much more meaningful. Indeed, Hester and Joseph have weathered many storms, but together they have overcome them all.
Officiant A.Mauricio provided the couple with a ceremony that was both unique and personal, throughout which family and friends were obviously inspired, moved by the love the two share and the life that they have built together.
Anna & Adam
This photo captures just a hint of the Joy, Fun and Spontaneity that was so much a part of Anna's and Adam's wedding on the rooftop of the Reef on the Water Restaurant just a stone's throw from the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Great Officiant A. Mauricio began the August 23rd ceremony by entertaining the couple's family and friends with a humorous telling of how the couple met on the dance floor of a Las Vegas club… No; everything that happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas!
Later knowing that the Bride is a big fan, A.Mauricio presented lyrics from a Country love song by Paul Brandt as a reading. Included in the chorus was the line "Baby I will, I am, I can, I have, I do". Then in closing at the Recessional, as if rehearsed, the Bridesmaids joined in and sang along with Shania Twain's recording of "You're Still The One That I Love" complete with arms in the air and waving.
