Filipino wedding

Bel Air Bay Club Wedding.

I love doing weddings at Bel Air Bay club in Pacific Palisades. It's such a beautiful location.

Today I did a filipino style wedding for Rhosemarie  & Daniel

In addition to doing the cord, Veil and coins we also did the unity candle and threw in a couple prayers.

With a huge wedding party and tons of sponsors the processional to quite a while.

The cake was awesome and table centerpieces were beautiful. Each table was different and creative.

The couple was very happy and so were  their guests.

Superman Wedding Ceremony takes off in Fountain Valley

FullSizeRender

When Luella and Kevin and I were designing their ceremony at the David Baker Memorial Golf Course, we came up with a lot of different ideas. We were doing a full Filipino Ceremony, with cord, veil, and coins and since they were gamers and loved comic books, I suggested Superman! They loved it and so did I! I began the ceremony dressed in a nice gray suit but with a hidden surprise under it. The ceremony went off as normal until after the ring exchange. I then took off my jacket and handed it to the best man and said how hot it was up there. Then I said wow, its SUPER hot, to which I ripped off my shirt, with buttons flying, to reveal the big S on my chest! I then dropped trou to reveal the rest of my outfit and cape. I then finished the ceremony with a wine box and love letter add in, then shared these words with them on how to use their super powers:

Superman – learn what each other’s kryptonite is and avoid using it

Spiderman – use your spidey senses to know when thing are going sideways

Wonder woman – Know that she will always have special powers and never underestimate her.

Hulk – try not to make each other mad. You wouldn’t like you partner when they are mad

Captain America – fight for what’s right in your relationship

Iron man – power up your heart every day

Wolverine – know when to evolve and when to retract your nails

Thor – Know when to put the hammer down

Everybody was completely surprised and loved every minute of it. We wish them a super life together and hope that on their honeymoon that he was not faster than a speeding bullet! Lol.

Filipino wedding ceremony at the Reef Restaurant in Long Beach

I love working with Filipino couples! They are so much fun and have so much life and laughter in them that I know I'm able to please them every ceremony I do. Today's wedding at the Reef was no exception. With an entourage of over 20 people walking down the aisle we were able to skillfully provide them with a perfectly executed ceremony. Lot and Vangie got the beautiful wedding that they dreamed of and I was happy to be a part of it.

We had met a couple weeks earlier and I issued them their marriage license so they never had to step foot in the county clerks office.

I love my job!

This Wedding Trumps them all

The one thing I like about doing weddings at Trump is the backdrop.
It is so awesome. Today’s wedding was a Filipino wedding utilizing the cord and veil. They also added the sand ceremony and a butterfly release which actually worked!

Great review from a Filipino wedding ceremony

photo1
Alan Katz from Great Officiants was our wedding ceremony officiant, and he did a wonderful job. Our ceremony was a Filipino wedding ceremony, which included a veil, cord, and coins. When speaking with Alan, he said that he was familiar with the Filipino wedding traditions. He even knew some Tagalog! Because it was difficult to coordinate a day and time to meet before the wedding ceremony, we spoke with Alan via Skype, and we quickly learned that it was easy to talk to Alan. He was very funny and friendly, but he knew when it was time to be serious and professional. On the day of our wedding, he arrived early, and gave me and my husband a “pep talk” of what to expect for our ceremony, and calmed our nerves before the wedding. The ceremony went smoothly and did not last too long. He kept the tone of the ceremony light and upbeat; and he even got the guests laughing. We would definitely recommend Alan Katz from Great Officiants to any bride and groom!
