A Contemporary Church in Etiwanda Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga

IMG_0488
Diego and Milly's wedding took place inside a beautiful contemporary church located in Etiwanda Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. We met about a week before their wedding and they originally wanted a Spanish ceremony. But during our meeting I learned that the reason they wanted a Spanish ceremony was because, like most couples, they did not know exactly how a bilingual ceremony would come out.

Most of my couples think that in bilingual ceremonies I repeat everything in both languages. This would be extremely repetitive and monotonous. The way I do bilingual ceremonies is by saying one or two paragraphs in English and the following one or two in Spanish without losing meaning or symbolism behind the message and also making everything flow evenly. Once I explain this to all my couples 99.9% of the time they decide to go with the bilingual ceremony.

This was the case with Diego and Milly. The end result was our "My Favorite" ceremony bilingual. It was very beautiful and not too long or too short!

Diego and Milly, thank you for granting me the honor of officiating your wedding ceremony! You guys are amazing! I wish you both nothing but love in all the blessings in the world!

A Great Wedding at a Great Venue: The Reef in Long Beach

IMG_0460
Elena and Ruben's wedding took place at The Reef in Long Beach. This is a great venue because the rooftop deck has a beautiful Long Beach skyline backdrop along with the bay and all the sailboats.

Their processional and recessional was wonderful because instead of having groomsmen and bridesmaids it was composed of all the kids in their family including Elana's kids. To top off this cuteness they were all dressed up in early 1900s attire! They were too cute to handle and so adorable!

We incorporated The lasso ritual and the sand ceremony. In their sand ceremony instead of having to individual containers representing the groom and bride we had six individual containers of sand representing the happy couple and the bride's four children. Like I've said in the past we can customize any and all of our ceremonies in add-ins to fit your wants and needs.

This was truly a beautiful ceremony and a day to remember! Elena & Ruben I wish you both all the blessings in the world and send you lots of hugs!!!

A Gorgeous Evening at the Japanese Gardens in Long Beach

IMG_20150619_190438083_HDR
June 19 was a gorgeous evening for the Ondo wedding at the Japanese Gardens in Long Beach.

Many happy tears were shed by the blissful couple, standing atop a bridge in the midst of family and friends.

The groom during the 13 coins ceremony evoked much laughter; and the Unity candle (set a little too deep in a glass jar) provided a small amount of struggle, but a great many heartfelt emotional moments.

Rev. Ralph was delighted to officiate for the wedding of Noa and Ryan, on Saturday, June 20.  It was a beautiful afternoon at the Adamson House in Malibu, as the happy couple tied the knot amid an exuberant gathering of family and friends.  An especially touching moment was when they read their own personal vows to each other – there were lots of smiles and a few hankies visible in the crowd!

The wedding planner was Erica España of Twine Events (http://twineevents.com) and the DJ was Omead of Dashing Events (http://www.dashingevents.com)

A Wedding at a Private Home in Sunland, by Wesley

Danielle and Charles were married at a lovely estate in Sunland, CA at 4:30 PM on Saturday, June 20th, 2015. They were married in front of a gorgeous terrace overlooking the rolling hills. Danielle and Charles decided to share their written vows to each other during the ceremony, and both talked about the first time Charles asked her to be his. They were sitting right next to each other 11 years ago outside of Danielle's parents' house, and Charles sent her a text message simply asking, "Be mine?" They sealed their love today, and through teary eyes dedicated their hearts to each other for the rest of their lives.

Shadows on the rocks for this sunset Laguna Beach wedding at the Surf and Sand Hotel

Soren and Shawnee came to Laguna Beach from Utah. It was their dream to get married with their toes in the sand. Just the two of them with no family or friends.

I got this cool picture of their shadows on the rocks.

Standing in a rose covered heart dug into the sand, together we designed A perfect intimate ceremony that included several elements.

To open the ceremony I did for blows of the conch shell to the four corners of the year. Just before the vows I played the singing bowl. And we closed it off with the sand ceremony.

They wrote their own vows and at my recommendation place them into frames.

I even surprise them by singing them a couple of songs at the beginning and end of the ceremony.
