Great Officiant Octavio’s Windy Wedding and Chapel Wedding Sucess!

Liliana & Yusef

Lilana and Yusef_ED

Liliana & Yusef were married at The Castaway in Burbank.  There are fabulous views from up there and it was a windy day.  Yusef’s father had passed away but he was right there with us alright!  This couple mean the World to me as their energies are hard to come across.

Yusef & Liliana, I wish you all the blessings in the Universe!!!!

Angelica & Jesus

Angelica and Jesus_ED

Angelica & Jesus got married at our beautiful chapel in Long Beach.  They had exactly 30 guests.  Even though we didn’t get a chance to meet beforehand, it felt like we had known each other for years.  Their wedding was very special, and their families and friends were very involved and such lovely people.

Jesus & Angelica, you definitely have my blessings always and I wish you the best!

Roger Marries Bibliophiles at the Library!

Roger-Lib2

Roger officiated an amazing wedding this last weekend at of all places, the L.A. Central Library!  Built in 1926, this venue is one of the largest libraries in the world.  Both the Meg and Jeroen are prolific readers and love this place. They couldn’t think of a better location to get married than at the library.  It was wonderful and not once did Roger get shushed for talking loud!

The couples loved Roger so much, they even wrote the following message:

Roger – I can’t even begin to tell how amazing yesterday was and you were a HUGE part of that.  We would love to request a copy of the ceremony as we would like to translate it into Dutch for Jeroens parents and family.  If you have a moment to send it along, we would really appreciate it.  Thanks!

Check out the spacious ceremony area below!

Rev Roger is inundated with Compliments!

Roger

Rev Roger has received compliments over the past few weeks and we’d like to share some to show Roger how grateful we are to have him on our team!

Roger married Brian & Melyssa at our Cute Little Chapel last August:

Hi Roger! I want to THANK YOU again for giving us the best ceremony EVER! The whole family is still talking about how awesome the ceremony was for our special day. It was the perfect blend of words from the heart and laughter to go with it. I’m not sure if you remember but Brian and I had changed the wedding last minute to save as much as we could to buy a house, and we did! The hard work paid off. We bought a house. Hopefully we can move in and enjoy it soon.

Warmest Regards, Melyssa

In early April, Brandon and Diane married at the Portofino Hotel

Hi Roger, Now that the dust has settled a little bit I just wanted to take this time to thank you for making our wedding so special.  You were so amazing to work with and all of our friends & family said that the ceremony was lovely.  Except for that awkward moment with my Mom’s “crazy long song” 🙂 I think the singer got a little carried away but you were so calm it made me calm. Lol.  It isn’t a wedding w/out a few awkward moments, right? Anyway, Brandon & I are so happy to have met you, it was such a pleasure, you were great even from our very first interaction. We cannot Thank You enough!

Love, Brandon & Diane

P.S. Thank you for keeping Brandon company while we were all taking pics in the lobby.

Post Cruise Wedding Ceremony Bliss! By Great Officiant A.Mauricio Lubong

Teresa and Jacob

Teresa and Jacob_GP_1

Teresa had plenty to smile about on Friday April 11th. She’d just disembarked from a cruise ship which rested anchor in Mexico, and now here she was, in Long Beach with her “toes in the sand”, ready to marry Jacob, her cruise-mate and fiancé — the man with whom she would share all future travels and dreams.

The photos illustrate only in small part the love they shared on that beautiful and happy day… so much love that it could barely be contained.  Rev. A. Mauricio was lucky enough to experience some of the overflow.  Ah, ain’t love grand?!

Rev. Anthony Performs Temecula Wedding- Rain Free!

20140426 Christi, Drew & AVY2

Christi and Drew’s wedding at Miramonte Winery in Temecula

With a fresh washed world all around the day was amazing. A bit chilly, breezy but – no rain!

The couple looked great and were obviously having a great time before, during and after the ceremony.

We added the traditional ‘breaking of the glass’ for Drew at the end – the rest was pretty straight forward and traditional.

Great couple – great venue – great event!

Officiant Michael is on a Wedding Roll!

Michael1- MM

Matthew and Manuela were married at a walk-on style beach wedding in Marina Del Rey.  This was a beautiful, intimate ceremony with the happy couple and their family.  After we performed their wedding under a palm tree, we went directly to the sidewalk where Matthew broke the glass and the entire family (and a few friendly onlookers) shouted Mazel Tov!

They also sent a quick thank you to Michael:

“Thank you so much! Everything was amazing and you were fantastic!!!

We all had a great time!”

Nate and Marissa found Wilshire Restaurant, in Santa Monica, to have a fantastic outdoor area to be a perfect backdrop for their light-hearted and fun ceremony.  After they exchanged vows and I Do’s, I scurried out of the way for their first kiss which their photographer captured from behind them, facing the audience and through a firepit!

Megan and Diana are a couple after my own heart – gamers!  After a lengthy first meeting over coffee where we exchanged tales of electronic victories, I had the privileged to learn all about their life as a couple: from first meeting through proposal and beyond.  Their ceremony remained true to their gamer essence. We performed an originally written Paopu Fruit Ceremony which is from the Kingdom Hearts video game series, their rings were kept in Pokémon balls and their tables were all labeled with classic games.  After their ceremony, which was held at the Mitten Building in Redlands, I retold their love story, they produced an enormous fantasy-style sword which they used to cut the cake.  Rock on ladies!

Richard and Aimee’s wedding, held at The 1909 in Topanga, was all about laughter and fun – would you expect anything else from a couple who both brought each other Gummy Bears on their first date?  We performed a beautiful Wine Box and Love Letter ceremony under their Chuppah. After I pronounced them husband and wife, Richard took his heel straight to a glass with an awesome crush and Mazel Tov!  I’m sure the rest of their reception was full of just as much energy, they had an entire candy buffet setup with delectable sugary delights!
